Iowa Off-Road & Suspension was launched in the summer of 2024 by Andy, the current owner of Big Jim’s Automotive. After years of running his family’s trusted auto repair shop in Cedar Rapids, Andy decided to expand into what he’s truly passionate about—off-road vehicles and performance. With Iowa Off-Road & Suspension, Andy is able to provide a unique service to the local community, focusing on custom builds and upgrades for enthusiasts who love to hit the trails.

Our shop is open on Fridays and Saturdays, offering expert consultations and services tailored to off-road enthusiasts. Whether you’re building a Jeep, UTV, or high-performance truck, our team will help you create the ultimate off-road vehicle. Andy’s passion for off-road adventures is matched by the skill of our lead technician, Trent, who brings extensive experience working on off-road rigs, including side-by-sides and performance trucks.​
